Jonathan Grenz

Professor of Ministry and Leadership and Dean of the School of Ministry

Dr. Jonathan Grenz, a veteran of more than 30 years of ministry experience, is the dean of the School of Ministry. Prior to his appointment to the deanship, he served as director of Palm Beach Atlantic’s Master of Divinity (M.Div.) program and assistant director of the Center for Experiential Learning (PBA’s study aboard department).

His ministry experience has spanned the Midwest, Northwest, southern California, south Florida and western Canada. He co-authored Synergistic Collaborations: Pastoral Care and Church Social Work, seeking to extend outreach ministries and new ways to collaborate with community organizations as they serve hurting people. Grenz has a passion for mentoring and equipping emerging young Christian leaders for the church and the world. He also enjoys serving churches through consulting and interim work, speaking at retreats, and preaching at local churches.

He and his wife, Susan, are the parents of Jesse, who graduated from PBA with the Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and the Master of Divinity, and Phoebe, who graduated from PBA with the Bachelor of Arts in Cross-Cultural Studies.
